A few years back, we received a call from Sharp Entertainment, inviting us to work as camera operators on a show being filmed in WNC. We eagerly accepted and had the opportunity to collaborate with a fantastic cast and crew. Over time, we developed a strong bond and continued working together on the show, Love Off The Grid.

Those familiar with Asheville and the surrounding region know that the weather doesn't always cooperate, especially in the film industry. Coming from New Orleans, where we experienced a multitude of weather patterns within a single day, we found a similar situation in WNC. There's a saying in New Orleans, "If you don't like the rain, walk to the other side of the street," and we've discovered its truth in WNC as well.

With temperatures dropping into the 10s and the crew needing pickup interviews for a scene filmed earlier in the season, we proposed checking out our studio as a potential solution. To our delight, it worked like magic. The team has since returned for multiple sessions, utilizing our space to overcome the challenges posed by the weather. We are thrilled to provide our production-friendly studio, spanning 2500 sq. ft., with high ceilings, an HMU and wardrobe room, beverage station, and a creatively designed loft for production and filming purposes. Additionally, Ride High offers a comprehensive range of camera, lighting, and grip rentals to meet your production needs. We are excited to continue collaborating with new production companies and contribute to the thriving Asheville and WNC community as a whole.
